  • Ben Bravo Vicepresidente de Administración, Finanzas y Servicios Comerciales

    Since 2005, I have led the institution's administrative management. I am an Accountant with 28 years of professional experience in the private sector in areas related to accounting, finance, logistics, budget, and management. In addition, I instituted the Flag Planting activity that is now traditionally held every year at the City of Knowledge.

  • Eduardo Araújo Leader of Strategic Projects

    For the past decade, I have overseen the cultural affairs and activities strategy for the City of Knowledge public; since 2014 as Communications Vice President. I specialized in cultural management at the University of Barcelona and I have led editorial projects, exhibits, and documentaries. I promoted the Cluster of Creative Industries of the Panama Chamber of Commerce.

    As Vice President of Operations, I make sure that the campus functions smoothly for everyone. Before joining the City of Knowledge, I was part of the team that created the COPA Airlines loyalty program. I had the opportunity to study at the IE Business School. In addition, I was captain of the first rowing team that represented Panama in an international competition.

    Leading the creation and implementation of the strategy to attract and gain the loyalty of the members is my key role as Business Manager. Before joining the City of Knowledge team, I was the director of Multinational Companies Headquarters at the Ministry of Commerce and Industries.

    Since its creation, I have led the International Center for Sustainable Development, which promotes knowledge management for sustainable development, integrating multiple disciplines. I have a bachelor's degree in Economics and I am a scholar of the theory of complexity, with an extensive background in the field of research and public administrat

    I lead the urban planning of the City of Knowledge, balancing the organized development of new buildings and spaces at the campus while preserving the main historic compounds. I previously worked at the Interoceanic Region Authority and I have professional experience in managing in-house companies.

  • Raúl Adames Legal Counseling Director

    I have been a legal consultant for the City of Knowledge since 2005. I graduated from the University of Panama and I have two decades of experience in civil and labor law, contract management, notarizing, and legal and labor counseling. I have represented the City of Knowledge and Panama before the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

  • Ricardo Eskildsen Finance and Investment Director

    As the Finance and Investment Director of the City of Knowledge Foundation, I lead the business diversification strategy and support the planning and execution of the organization's finances. After my arrival, I led the transition from Peachtree to SAP. Prior to this, I worked as a private banking and investment fund consultant.

    I love my job of establishing partnerships that benefit the City of Knowledge Foundation. I am very organized with my work and I consider myself a fashionable grandmother who likes to spoil her grandchildren. One of my favorite anecdotes at the Foundation was offering and serving coffee to the now King of Belgium Filip Leopold Lodewijk during his visit to the CdS in 2009.

    I bring in technology innovation companies. I am a member of the IEEE Computer Society since 2005. Practicing kayaking taught me discipline and give the extra mile because when you are getting weak in the middle of Gatun Lake, you must keep rowing! Here everyone can propose new ideas. I promoted and enjoyed the paternity leave offered by FCdS.

    I lead the team that manages events at the Convention Center, Rooms 105, and the Athenaeum. I am proud to be a part of the evolution of the Events area and becoming one of the windows of the FCdS for the community. In 2009, I marched in a Flag Planting in an area that Panamanians were not allowed to enter before. I like embroidering polleras and making tembleques.

    Direct and manage the Foundation's digital transformation strategy and its evolution towards process-based management. I love ordering and putting technology at the service of people. From the age of 20, I have my own development company. Working here has helped me develop my leadership, lose my fear of public speaking, and put almost everything into perspective.

    I am in charge of searching for innovative projects, investment opportunities, and their validation process for the Startup Acceleration Program of the Innovation Center. I am passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship in Panama.

    I manage our offices, always looking for solutions based on my analysis. I am proud of having drafted the first manuals and procedures of the FCdS, and of participating in organizing the Business and Training Center. I was a college professor for 10 years at the School of Industrial Engineering of the Universidad Tecnológica.

I once coordinated the visit of a US President to CdS with the Secret Service!

    I turn knowledge management into a means to translate the experience of the FCdS through value services. Since 2004, I have been surprised to see the diversity of topics and experiences in which I've had the opportunity to participate. I enjoy fresh country air and traveling around the country in search of contact with nature and our traditions.

    At the Business Promotion area, I share my knowledge and work to reach more people every day. I am persistent, perfectionist, organized, and a multitasking specialist! I have balanced my professional life and my family running after two children while in heels. The FCdS and I have seen each other grow. I am proud of everything we have accomplished!

    I am in charge of managing campus maintenance. I am known for being very punctual. I won third place in an international swimming competition in the Dominican Republic. One of my greatest accomplishments at the City of Knowledge Foundation has been to provide follow-up for the supply and installation of the first magnetic cooler in Panama, installed in building 253 of the CdS

    I am in charge of business promotion of the Science community in CdS. I am a persistent person and I move forward despite the obstacles I find in my path. I enjoy and am proud to work in an area that was formerly forbidden for Panamanians. I like reading and I identify myself with Ursula Iguaran for her capacity to be resilient in life.

    I offer hospitality services to CdS visitors. Before I started working at the FCdS, I worked in two different places on campus, United Nations and the Holiday Inn Hotel School. I love this place, its history, vision, and the people who make this a unique place. I love poetry and writing. I am passionate and loyal, with strong values and hope for a better world.

    I coordinate construction projects to improve real estate at CdS. I have a Master's Degree in Construction Project Management. I also studied music and I used to belong to Youth Orchestras. When I was interviewed to work at the Foundation, they guaranteed that I would not get bored because I would always have new projects, and that has been the case.

    I work with electromechanical systems, machinery, vehicles, and industrial equipment of CdS. I am analytical, patient, methodical, and joyful. I enjoy organizing the Panama Jazz Festival. Even though it is extremely exhausting, the rapport with the public, the logistics, the artists, and the organization make this an exceptional experience.

    I am a Fixed Assets Accountant. I am understanding, patient, and I always support others. One of my anecdotes at the FCdS happened when I went biking around some buildings that have fixed assets of the Foundation and I was telling my colleague Manuel that this reminded me of my childhood in San Carlos, where bicycles were our main mode of transport.

    I am in charge of planning and supervising the preventive and corrective maintenance of the buildings and the CdS campus. I am happy and committed, I do not give up easily. Representing Operations in the Innovation Challenge was a great challenge since I had never presented anything of that sort. Despite the nerves, in the end the result was better than I had expected.

    I search for the best technical solutions that can help us increase our productivity at the Foundation. I am a person who is committed to his objectives and one of the most important ones I have fulfilled has been to program the video surveillance system at the City of Knowledge Foundation.     I supervise the cleaning of the rooms in the dormitories of the City of Knowledge Lodging Complex. I am punctual and responsible. I have worked in the reception area before and I have also learned how to use some computer programs I didn't know. For me, the FCdS is the best place to work. It has been a total change for me since I started working in this organization.

One funny incident occurred when visiting one of the houses, I was surprised by a customer who had prepared a delicious Spanish-style breakfast for me. It was the best welcome!

    I am an Operations Supervisor and I take care of the green spaces and buildings of CdS, offering the best service to customers and colleagues. I have been working at CdS since before the Foundation existed. Once, we were working when suddenly, some coatimundi started chasing us. We dropped our tools, went to get the boss, and when we came back they chased the three of us!

    I lead the Refrigeration team, teaching everything I have learned in my 30 years of experience. I was able to achieve energy savings of almost $700,000 by implementing adjustments to the operation of the system. I believe that we are all born with the potential to become heroes and our pets are able to see that. I have three dogs that make me feel that way with their love.

    My job is somewhat complicated, it is a little bit of everything. My strong suit is structures and roofs. I strive to be collaborative and offer all my knowledge to whoever requests it. I've had the opportunity to meet people such as local and international presidents, Nobel prize laureates, singers, princes, and even an astronaut!

    I am hostess of the community of entrepreneurs of CdS. I am proud to be part of this project that drives many people to improve their lives. My son, Luan, inspires me to fulfill my dreams, one of them is to create my own undertaking. I like to play soccer, practice longboard, and spend time with my friends. I am a fan of astrology and I love contemplating the moon.

    I am in charge of recording the ACH payments, deposits, and bank transfers of the FCdS. I manage collection, billing, and other transactions that result in good collection management. I enjoy going to the park with my son. I enjoy the work environment of the FCdS and the commitment of the campus to technological developments. I also love dogs!

    I am part of the Lodging team. I was part of the first group of drivers of the internal transportation system of the Foundation. One of the things I value most is that users of the internal buses still recognize me even after so many years of not being a driver. I have a close-knit family and friends I care deeply about.

    I take care of customers from the Lodging Complex, making sure they have a pleasant stay at the City of Knowledge. I like that here we make every effort to promote sustainability and we are a model for others nationwide. One of my greatest achievements has been to open a Taekwondo academy.     I am responsible for connecting the FCdS with the campus through the messenger service. In 1999, when I started working here, this was a desert. The houses and buildings were empty and there were almost no people. We were 20 people in the office! I am proud to be a part of the CdS project after so many years.

    I am in charge of providing maintenance for the correct operation of the electrical equipment of CdS. Once, they called me to check a residence that had no power. When I arrived, I knew the main breaker had gone off and I restarted it. A girl who was about 10 years old told her mother that she could have done that too, and her mother and I started laughing.

A great personal achievement has been to complete my degree as Technician in Educational Computer Science at age 47. I love that FCdS values all its employees.
