A strategic and multi-sectoral meeting point
Ciudad del Saber is a meeting point that seeks to build a more prosperous, inclusive, democratic and sustainable society by linking the public sector with the private and intergovernmental sectors.
Due to this spirit of intersectoral collaboration, the National Government has a presence on the campus of 20 entities, specifically those working in science, technology, human development and research.
Scientific, political and social research
Science has its highest national representative through the headquarters of the National Secretariat of Science and Technology - SENACYT, which was also one of the first institutions to be established in Ciudad del Saber, in 2000.
In 2017, CIEPS was constituted, AIP focused on developing research in political and social sciences, whose mission focuses on producing knowledge for the formulation of public policies and for decision-making in the public and private sectors.
Human development and education
From our campus, governmental entities execute programs that promote educational innovation.
The Ministry of Education has set up the Bilingual Academy Panama for the Future at the Ciudad del Saber, the first public school with an international bilingual bachelor's degree in Panama, which aims to give its graduates the opportunity to apply to various international universities and have a quality higher education training.
The participants of the Academy, students from all over the country -including the comarcas- are chosen for their academic merits.

We have consolidated an ecosystem in which more than 200 entities coexist: companies, scientific and social research centers, universities and international organizations, as well as governmental entities and NGOs.
Collaboration
42% of the entities present at Ciudad del Saber are of Panamanian origin, and collaborate closely with 58% represented by organizations and companies from all over the world.
Experience
Our community is characterized by including mature institutions that evolve thanks to the advantages of having a presence on campus. Currently, 70% of them have more than 10 years of experience.
Connection
Ciudad del Saber connects the public, private and intergovernmental sectors, with the aim of boosting social and economic development. 60% of the entities claim to collaborate with other members of the community.
