Ciudad del Saber offers an optimal environment for training and updates for humanitarian workers, who participate in regional seminars and conferences that allow them to acquire new knowledge and stay updated to continue their service for the benefit of the most vulnerable populations.
All this from a campus that facilitates synergies, maximizes the use of resources, produces economies of scale in the provision of services, encourages the use of shared spaces and increases the ability to adopt strategic approaches, framed in the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Spanish Agency for International Cooperation was one of the first to settle in Ciudad del Saber.
2001
The Regional Office for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) is established on campus.
2006
Designation of Ciudad del Saber as UN Interagency Hub for Latin America and the Caribbean.
2010
In the case of the earthquake in Haiti, the presence of international organizations in Ciudad del Saber allowed for a rapid and articulated response.
