Findings from the Global Entrepreneurship Survey 2023
- Entrepreneurship has gained more recognition and social support in recent years, showing that society increasingly values entrepreneurship.
- In 2023, there has been a notable increase in the number of entrepreneurs starting businesses, reflecting an increase in the realization of entrepreneurial intention. However, the number of new entrepreneurs has shown a slight decrease compared to 2022, although not significant.
- Despite a balanced distribution in the initial stages of the entrepreneurial process, a growing gender gap is observed in the more advanced stages. It shows a need to promote female participation in the later stages of entrepreneurship.
