The broad range of cafeterias and restaurants attract many visitors and pedestrians, where La Plaza is the main meeting point of the City of Knowledge community. Throughout the year there is a diverse program of activities at La Plaza that attracts visitors of all ages.
The commercial services at the City of Knowledge also include a bookstore, pharmacy, clinic, bank, laundry services, grocery stores, bicycle rental, beauty salon, veterinary clinic, among others. There are often temporary markets held around La Plaza that sell handcrafts, collectors’ items, and antiques.
The City of Knowledge also has an Urban Market which features agricultural products that are free from chemicals, handmade, and healthy, promoting a commercial exchange between the community and farms with organic produce and similar initiatives. It usually takes place on the third weekend of the month.
