Get to feel and think City of Knowledge!

Publicado 27 Mayo 2021

The City of Knowledge Foundation celebrated the launch of its guide for visitors to the House Museum, and the audio guide for touring the campus.

Special guests, professionals from the cultural industry and the general public gathered at the facilities of the City of Knowledge House Museum to learn more about these institutional projects through their own staff.

"These guides are intended to recover the importance of awareness and memory," said Professor Jorge Arosemena, Executive President of the City of Knowledge Foundation, who in addition mentioned that only through these efforts we can create a more fair, equal and sustainable society for future generations.

Mariana Núñez, Vice President of Communications, highlighted the series of initiatives that have been generated for the wide and diverse community, that go from spreading the message to cultural alliances and programs that promote the growth of our different audiences.

For Walo Araújo, Leader of Strategic Projects, creating the visitor's guide focused on the public can be attractive and fill that gap of knowledge that has only been obtained through anecdotes and stories that engage; "interpreting is giving meanings and once the meanings are revealed, we see things with different eyes, and that is our idea... that people can see [the City of Knowledge] with new eyes".

In addition, Davinia Uriel, Cultural Affairs and Community Manager emphasized the importance of connecting the campus with the Panamanian public, through initiatives such as the City of Knowledge audio guide, to generate a sense of ownership of the space and "value what it was and what we are".
