City of Knowledge and La Prensa present "The vaccine route"

In order to publicize the process of creating vaccines, in addition to opening a space for exchange between speakers to address myths and truths about them, City of Knowledge and La Prensa come together to present the webinar "The vaccine route” on Tuesday, September 29 at 4:00 p.m.
The webinar, which will be part of a series of talks that bear the name of "The Making of the City", will feature the outstanding participation of Dr. Eduardo Ortega, Vice President and Director of Medical Affairs and Research and Clinical Development for Latin America and the Caribbean of GlaxoSmithKline Vaccines; Dr. Argentina Ying, Member of the CdS Advisory Committee and president of the National Bioethics Committee; Dr. Digna Wong, General Coordinator of INDICASAT - Center for Clinical Research and Translational Medicine and Member of the COVID-19 Vaccine Research Consortium; Dr. Dilsa Lara, PAHO/WHO consultant on immunizations; and Dr. Juan Miguel Pascale, Director of the GORGAS Memorial Institute. The event will be moderated by the Executive President of the City of Knowledge Foundation, Jorge Arosemena.
The topics that will be addressed will be the stages of the manufacture of a vaccine, including: research, the preclinical stage, the bioethical committee, clinical trials, and official approval and authorization, as well as national immunization programs.
