Visit to the International Technopark of the City of Knowledge
On November 15, 2011, a group of young people that are participating in the Intel Computer Clubhouse Network of the Boston Science Museum, Intel Foundation and MIT, visited the International Technopark of Panama located at the City of Knowledge.
The Program aims to provide young people from underserved communities the possibility to learn and explore their own ideas, develop skills and build confidence in different areas such as: Graphic Design, Music Production and Editing, Robotics, 2D and 3D Animation, Video Editing and more, while helping students stay in school. The Program counts with social workers, programmers, electronic technicians, biologists, electronic engineers, designers, educators, public relations officers, teachers and software engineers.
The young students visited companies located inside the City of Knowledge such as: 5iMEDIA, IDEL and AMTS as well as the Panama Business Accelerator (AEP).
