Talent and Innovation Competition of the Américas (TIC Américas 2012)

The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) invites young people from 13 to 36 years of age that wish to create and boost their business, or social project idea, to register in the Talent and Innovation Competition of the Américas (TIC Américas 2012).

TIC Américas is an international business competition that promotes and accelerates innovative businesses of young entrepreneurs of the region by inciting them to register their ideas and present their projects by December 15, 2011.

TIC Américas 2012 will reward projects in two categories:

Prizes in Talent and Innovation: social or business projects that showcase talent and innovation in their proposal or business strategy.

Eco-Challenge Prize: social or business projects that offer a viable and innovative solution to environmental problems.

Young entrepreneurs can register their projects at The prizes include incubation opportunities, global acknowledgment and money in cash, as well as international promotion platforms and business contacts.  More than eight prizes of $5,000 will be handed during the TIC Américas 2012 Final, which will take place in Cartagena, Colombia, in April 2012.
