Save the Children International (SCI) Regional Office at the City of Knowledge
Save the Children International (SCI) has a new fully established and operational Regional Office at the City of Knowledge in Panama City.
The office has responsibility over the Save the Children International Country Offices and activities in Latin America and the Caribbean and is headed by Beat Rohr, Regional Director, who has over 30 years of experience in the areas of human and economic development and humanitarian assistance in Latin America and Africa.
Save the Children decided to set up its Regional Office at the City of Knowledge thanks to the proximity of other organizations with regional offices with which partnerships can form, the formidable positioning of Panama to facilitate logistical issues, and because the humanitarian community in Latin America and the Caribbean is located within the City of Knowledge.
