Regional Videoconference "Accessibility within the scope of Inclusion in the educational community"
On June 5th, the Organization of Ibero-American Satates (OEI), based in the City of Knowledge, with support from MEDUCA, IPHE, SENADIS, FEIDI and the Latin University of Panama, developed the Regional Videoconference «Accessibility within the scope of Inclusion in the educational community».
The videoconference was conducted by Dr. Graciela Alisedo, MA in Linguistics from Panama, and Dr. Rafael Sanchez Montoya, a specialist in the use of new technologies in special education, from Cadiz, Spain; as well as resource centers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras.
Ms. Melissa Wong Sagel, OEI Resident Director, Professor Ariadne Petterson, National Director of Special Education MEDUCA, Mr. Ramón Alemán Arias, General Director of SENADIS, and Marixenia Ramos Ocaña, General Director of IPHE, composed the main table.
The videoconference, held at the Videoconferencing Room of the Latin University of Panama, was attended by technicians, resource centers, and deaf associations, among others.
