Novasoft and the Technological University of Panama sign a cooperation agreement
Novasoft, an affiliate of the City of Knowledge International Technopark, and the Technological University of Panama (UTP) signed a cooperation agreement on February 16, favoring the academic, scientific and cultural cooperation between both entities.
The signing of the cooperation agreement between Novasoft’s Director for Central America, Juan Carlos Perez, and UTP Rector, Mr. Luis Barona, lays the foundation for collaboration and mutual assistance between Novasoft and the University. Extension Director Mr. Escobar Geomara and Professor Zenith Hernandez, from the UTP, and the Director of Operations in Central America for Novasoft, Maria Alcazar, also participated in the event.
This agreement entails great advantages for the development of both institutions, where the UTP’s mission is to “fully train its human resources to generate, transform, project and transfer science and technology to undertake, promote and propel the technological, economic, social and cultural development.» Novasoft, in turn, will offer their skills and expertise in global market in Information Technology and Communications, Strategic Consulting and Process, in order to penetrate new markets and provide elements of competitiveness, innovation and technology.
With this agreement, Novasoft and the UTP will compromise to promote joint research projects, cooperate in technological development research projects, develop joint training programs in the Information Technology field, participate in various events, and offer professional practices, technical tours and students graduation presentations, among others.
