Moon and Drums Community Party
The community of friends, neighbors and users of the City of Knowledge got together to celebrate the “Full Moon Drums Night”, which took place on our green areas, below the great corotú tree, and with the help of Kiwanis Sports City.
With an outstanding family participation, the event started at 6:00 p.m. with percussion exercises carried out by Panamanian musician Alfredo Hidrovo who warmed up the crowd and created a festive environment. Soon afterwards a real band had formed. While the percussionist audience grew in intensity and connection, a majestic outdoors concert started to develop.
During the event jugglers from the theater group “La Tribu” made a presentation with fire and stilts: also, some musicians sang, played wind instruments, and created diverse Panamanian, Latin American and African rhythms. The night also counted with the presence of friends from the Ultimate Frisbee Association of Panama, who inaugurated their Summer League; an authentic party in which we celebrated in community the coming of the dry season.
