Labor Culture Forum at the City of Knowledge
Last Thursday, September 27, marked the celebration of the Forum «Labor Culture: Challenges for the Formation of Human Capital for Complex Production Processes» at the City of Knowledge Convention Center.
The Forum, aimed at educators, trainers, companies, governmental and nongovernmental organizations, students and academics, and society in general, got started with welcoming remarks by Dr. Guillermo Castro, Academic Director of the City of Knowledge Foundation.
The Forum provided a discussion on new forms of human resources training based on the actual labor needs of our country, seeking to provide technical knowledge and creating a culture of commitment and belonging with the job.
This free of charge event had lectures on behalf of Steve Hitch from Caterpillar and Pedro Daniel Weinberg of the University of San Martin in Argentina, as well as conferences regarding local cases by Rubén Pérez of the Panama Canal Authority and Thierry Eck of the Panama International Hotel School.
