Florida State University celebrates its Pow Wow
On October 25, Florida State University Panama, based at the City of Knowledge, held its 2nd annual Pow Wow, a party where alumni, students, staff and friends of the institution come together to show their «seminole» pride. On this occasion, this prestigious American educational institution commemorated its 55 years of operations in Panama.
During the ceremony, awards were presented to two FSU alumni: Carlos Henríquez, President of the National Bank of Panama, and Ursula Kiener, for their outstanding achievements through their careers. Additionally, FSU gave recognition to Professor Carlos King for his outstanding career at the University and his programs to help the youth in the neediest sectors of Rio Abajo.
