First Day of School for MET at the City of Knowledge
Monday, August 29, 2011 marked the first day of school for The Metropolitan School of Panama (MET) inside Building 104 at the City of Knowledge.
The MET will be an internationally accredited private school for students from Preschool to 12th Grade. During their first year of operation, however, the MET will offer classes to students in grades Pre-K3 to 6th grade.
The Metropolitan School of Panama counts with more than 220 students from more than 30 countries, at the hands of almost 50 educators that come from different parts of the world as well. They all share the same objective: offering the best education possible in order to prepare their students for the challenges of a world that’s subject to constant change.
With a small class size system the MET is committed to cultivating the imagination, intellect and values of each child, with a strong emphasis on the arts, Panamanian culture, competitive athletics, cutting edge technology, and the promotion of values. All of this in an environment that practices respect, embraces diversity, upholds nature and inspires a passion for learning.
