Extremadura Government Delegation visits the City of Knowledge

In recent days a delegation from the government of Extremadura, headed by Mr. Enrique Barrasa, Director General of Investment and External Action, visited the City of Knowledge Foundation in order to meet with its Executive Director, Jorge Arosemena.

Joining Mr. Bernardo López and López-Ríos, Minister Counselor at the Spanish Embassy in Panama, the delegation; which also included Ms. María del Pilar Merino Muñoz, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Mr. Miguel Angel Mendiano, Investment Coordinator for External Affairs and Mr. Joaquín Teixeira, Director of the Extremadura Center for Studies and Cooperation with Ibero-America (CEXESI); learned about the main activities carried out within the City of Knowledge.

During the meeting, attended by Mr. Ricardo Endara, Director of the International Technopark of the City of Knowledge, and Dr. Gabino Ayarza, Project Manager of Information and Communications Technologies, they addressed the possibilities offered by the City of Knowledge to innovative extremaduran companies to develop their implementation plan in Panama and how to establish links between innovation centers from Extremadura and the City of knowledge.
