After three days of conference sessions, workshops and unconferences, Drupalcamp Central America, held in Panama for the first time, successfully concluded. The City of Knowledge hosted the event which featured speakers from Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Guatemala, Bolivia, El Salvador, Peru, and of course, Panama.
Engineer Ricardo Endara, Director of the City of Knowledge International Technopark, inaugurated the event along with Felix Delattre and Diego Tejera, organizers of Drupalcamp Central America 2012. The inaugural lecture “State of Drupal Latino in 2012” was given by Fernando Paredes García of Peru.
It is important for the City of Knowledge to support such innovative initiatives that strengthen our work as a motor space in the field of innovation, development and knowledge in Panama, where the existence of reference centers and companies already positioned in the international market provide an ideal climate for the development of new products and services in the area of Information Technology and Communication (ICT).
