International Seminar: The job of the Architect

The Architecture and Design School of Latin America and the Caribbean (ISTHMUS) is organizing the International Seminar: The job of the Architect with the idea of promoting, between professionals and architecture students, a reflection platform about the job of the architect and the new challenges that the profession demands.

Various international lecturers from many different countries have been invited such as Ernesto Alva Martínez (Mexico), Rahul Mehrotra (India), Marcelo Ferraz (Brazil), Ruth Alvarado (Peru), Laureano Forero (Colombia), Marie Odile Marçeau (Canada) and Christian Undurraga (Chile).

The conferences will take place at the Ateneo inside the City of Knowledge between the 5th and 9th of September, 2011, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  There will be free transportation from the City of Knowledge to the Albrook Terminal once the conference has finished.

The conferences have a cost of $25 for professionals and $15 for students.  Tickets can be acquired at ISTHMUS, building 106 of the City of Knowledge, or at the Ateneo at the day of the event.
