The Cuban music group Habana Sax was formed when its members were still studying Chamber Music in the Superior Art Institute of Cuba (I.S.A). After having passed their first phase consisting of an extensive journey through the works of many classic, Cuban and international contemporary composers, Habana Sax has continued to evolve in the search of their own musical and scenic style and have therefore developed an extensive repertory marked by Latin Jazz, Caribbean Music and Popular Cuban Music.
Their musicians not only show an amazing display of virtuosity and skill but they also accomplish an incredible fusion with the audience, transmitting their typical Cuban flavor and combining it, in an ingenious way, with African chants, percussion, popular Cuban songs sang by all five of them and even dance! as they reach a great climax along with their audience on stage and thus making it an incredible show.
