MIRPS countries will gather in Mexico to held their II Annual Reunion
The event will take place on november 8
On Friday, November 8, the countries that are part of the Regional Integral Framework for Protection and Solutions (MIRPS) will meet at the Ministry of the Interior in Mexico City to hold the II Annual Meeting.
In this event, the representatives of Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala and the host country will meet to discuss the progress and challenges presented by the situation of people who for different reasons are forced to leave their country originally.
As MIRPS Technical Secretariat, representatives of the OAS and UNHCR will be present at the meeting and will have important interventions during the day.

The II Annual Meeting will have an agenda that will allow different activities, including the presentation of the II Annual Report of the MIRPS and the Political Declaration of the MIRPS States, which will be presented at the World Forum on Refugees to be taken to held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland on December 16, 17 and 18.
The event will serve to conduct strategic and high-level dialogue tables that will be useful for member countries to continue identifying opportunities for improvement in their actions regarding the better management of the refugee migration situation, as well as the methods to guarantee their right to a decent life during the time they are in a MIRPS country.
