Within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the Andres Bello Agreement, the Organization of this important entity held two extremely fruitful events in the capital of Panama. The first, held on October 24, was a Table of Strategic Alliances for Integration and the second happened today (October 30), entitled “Workshop on the Validation of Common Frames of Strategy Quality Criteria of Educational Integration, ESINED ”.
The first event took place at the SENACYT facilities in Ciudad del Saber, where representatives of different international organizations (including members of the OAS Office in Panama), diplomatic corps and representatives of the public sector met together with the Doctor Delva Batista, Executive Secretary of the Organization of the Andres Bello Agreement in a fruitful meeting that focused on highlighting the activities, projects and challenges that the Agreement carries out and faces with a view to continuing to honor its mission and supporting education in an important way. culture in the region and Spain, as mandated by the 12 member countries.
At the inauguration of the Validation Workshop, held today at the Wyndham Hotel in Albrook Mall, Dr. Batista and the Academic Vice Minister of Education, Ms. Zonia Gallardo de Smith, emphasized the imperative need to create a Common framework of agreements for education in the region, however, stressed that this does not mean agreeing at all times, but understanding differences is a potentially enriching point of being used correctly.
