LAC Regional WASH Adviser - (200004XM)
 
The Opportunity

This position could be based in: Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia or Peru.

Save the Children LAC RO is currently recruiting for an experienced adviser to guide WASH programming in the LAC region. We are looking for a committed professional with a proven track record in WASH in humanitarian and development contexts, as well as experience in programme design and delivery.

Key areas of responsibility

WASH technical support to humanitarian responses in the region   
Technical support to WASH projects in the region  
Represent SC in WASH sector regional groups  
Strengthen SC WASH capacities and emergency preparedness
Programme development and portfolio growth
Coordination and representation
Evidence and learning
Advocacy and knowledge management
 

In order to be successful, you will have:

Experience in WASH in humanitarian and development contexts
Worked at an advisory or technical level in the international humanitarian sector
Proficient Spanish and English language abilities
Substantial progressive, professional-level experience
Proposal development and report writing skills
