The common thread of the concept of sustainable development is based on the alliance formed by the economy, society and the protection of the environment. Thus, it refers to the ordering of relations between society (in a broad sense, including economic activity) and the natural environment, with emphasis on the impact of human activity on the environment.
We continue to advance with our series of conferences “Conservation for a sustainable future”, this time, theme three “Social change for sustainable development” focuses on the three essential elements of the concept of sustainable development, touching on topics such as: Environmental history as a general history, social organization as the engine of change and an economic perspective for sustainable development.
