City of Knowledge invites to the webinar “Panamanian musical production in times of pandemic”, which will happen on Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 pm.

Yigo Sugasti will explain what the Tocando Madera Foundation does and how he values the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on independent professionals and artists in the music sector, as well as their perspectives for the industry to succeed.
 
Norma Buendía will tell us about the objectives and who are the members of PRODUCE and PANAIE, sister organizations that represent in Panama the union of music producers, as well as musicians and singers. We have asked Norma Buendía to also tell us about the contribution that the Panamanian music industry makes to the country.
 
Carlos Wynter, from our Ministry of Culture, will provide us with perspectives on how to strengthen the copyright system in Panama.
 
The discussion session will be moderated by Walo Araújo from the City of Knowledge Foundation.
