During the month of the Sustainable Development Goals, the City of Knowledge Foundation, the Autonomous University of Chiriquí (UNACHI) through its Vice-Rectory for Research and Postgraduate Studies and the National Foundation for the Conservation of Nature (ANCON), with the support ENESA and CIDES, invite you to a series of talks called: “Conservation for a sustainable future”, made up of four days of information exchange on biodiversity, environment and social change that aim from different objectives to fulfill the SDGs.
This first discussion “Conservation and management of biodiversity” opens the door for us to discuss issues such as: Why is biodiversity important? What does it imply for conservation? What are the disruptors of biodiversity? among other questions.
During this cycle of conversations we will be hearing from a varied group of speakers how these interrelationships become relevant and are closely linked to health and life, not only of ecosystems but also of us humans.
