At the City of Knowledge Foundation, we are committed to generating positive impacts in the country and the world through our work. Our sustainability strategy is aligned to different global regulations and initiatives, among which the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) stand out, framed within the United Nations development agenda for the year 2030. Actions that the Government of Panama has also joined. With our management we hope to contribute to its compliance.
We work in line with the Triple Bottom Line perspective, coined in 1994 by John Elkington, that invites organizations to recognize the importance of achieving a balance in the management of the three dimensions that make up sustainability: economic, social and environmental. This vision shows our commitment to generate a large-scale impact that exceeds welfare actions and creates shared value for all.
We present, on this map, our contribution to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
