UNISDR and OMS/PAHO officially open the doors of their new regional offices

On December 11, the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR), regional office for the Americas and the Caribbean and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) / World Health Organization (WHO), office for Central America, officially opened their new facilities at house 112 inside the City of Knowledge, Panama.  

At the opening ceremony, the official ribbon cutting and raising of the flags of the United Nations and PAHO / WHO were carried out. The event was attended by Harold Robinson, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Panama, members of other agencies of the United Nations System, representatives of civil society and other partners.
