UNISDR invites you to participate in the youth video challenge for DRR
More and more, youth are being recognized for their ability to provide fresh perspectives on policy discussions impacting their communities and countries. That is why the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR) is offering youth between the ages of 18-34 an opportunity to develop a short video demonstrating how to build disaster risk reduction in their communities.
If you are between the ages of 18-34 and live in the Americas, you can participate in a Youth Video Challenge by submitting a 30-60 second video responding to the following question:
How would you improve disaster risk reduction in your community? You can help influence policies that impact livelihoods.
You can contribute to the safety of your community by raising awareness on disaster risk reduction (DRR). You, yes you! You can#BeaDRRChangeAgent. Enter here for more info: http://eird.org/pr17/juventud-y-reduccion-de-riesgo-de-desastres.html
