Pranical Technologies, a company located at the City of Knowledge that specializes in delivering digital business transformation solutions, within its scientific extension framework, had the opportunity to support a team of young primary school students who participated in the National Robotics Championship.

The young people responded fully to the demands of the event, achieving the 1st place in category B of the National Science Fair, which will allow them to occupy a position in the National Robotics Team of Panama that will represent us in the World Robotics Championship to be held in November in Costa Rica.

This national event was held on October 7 and 8 at the City of Knowledge Convention Center and brought together more than 100 teams that represented educational institutions from different parts of the country in different categories, showing their creative and intellectual skills, by developing innovative scientific projects that fulfill the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

The winning team is made up of Marcos Zambrano, a student at the Cultural Institute, Josué González, a student at San José La Salle De Colón School - both of whom are also students of the Panama STEM academy - and their tutor Daniel Zambrano, Executive Director of Pranical, who presented a robot whose main function is to separate and collect, in their respective containers, plastic and paper waste that are together in the garbage.

Currently, the team and its collaborators are focused on the implementation of a series of adjustments that they will be presenting in the world competition, and that they consider will contribute substantially in improving their performance and with that achieve a satisfactory performance.

Once again Pranical, through its participation in initiatives like this, seeks to collaborate in increasing the development capacities of its environment and the expansion of sustainable awareness, as established by its mission.
