Jorge Arosemena receives the 2018 Global Service Leadership Award
Last October, the Boeing Institute of International Business, the Chaifetz School of Business and Saint Louis University held the “Boeing Institute of International Business Awards Ceremony”, where Professor Jorge Arosemena, Executive President of the City of Knowledge Foundation, received the 2018 Global Service Leadership Award.
The ceremony, which was held in Saint Louis on October 11, recognized global business leaders and student scholars at a sit-down dinner. The event celebrated the achievements of global business leaders in the community and the positive impact they have had within the worldwide scope of business and leadership.
Professional awards handed during the ceremony included the 2018 Globalist Award to Mr. Bob Chapman, Chairman and CEO of Barry-Wehmiller; the 2018 International Visionary Award to Mr. Pat Larmon, President and CEO of Bunzl Distribution, Inc.; and the 2018 Global Service Leadership Award to Professor Jorge R. Arosemena, President of the City of Knowledge Foundation.
Six student scholars in International Business and who were chosen based upon the strength of their academic achievement, service and extracurricular activities, were also honored at the ceremony.
Established in 1984, the Boeing Institute of International Business at Saint Louis University provides academic and professional programs in international business. Saint Louis University is a leader in international business education, and the Chaifetz School of Business is one of only a few business schools in the United States offering international business programs at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level.
