Hacking Challenge 2017
The competition will be held in Costa Rica and Panama and will bring together computer security fans to demonstrate their capabilities as hackers.
For the first time in Costa Rica and for the second consecutive year in Panama, the largest cybersecurity competition will be held, where computer security fans will compete to breach a corporate website in a simulated environment.
Hacking Challenge 2017, an event organized by Soluciones Seguras, Tech Day, Radware and Check Point, will help institutions, companies and organizations identify risks in their networks and define effective security strategies.
Competitors will test their knowledge, speed and accuracy in an environment prepared by Radware and Check Point security platforms.
Managers of the IT and Security Area of the public and private sector, special guests and media, will also meet at the event, where they will get to see live the silent computer attacks that their organizations usually receive, what tools hackers use, what are the dangers of a poorly designed website and what is the best way to protect your websites.
The competition will be held in Costa Rica on Monday, May 15, at the Hotel Real Intercontinental, and in Panama on Wednesday, May 24, at the Megapolis Convention Center.
Hacking Challenge 2017 will be held as a preliminary event to TECHDAY in Costa Rica and Panama, joining in this way the 10 year celebration of the most relevant business technology update tour of Central America and the Dominican Republic organized by IT NOW magazine.
