The City of Knowledge Foundation (FCdS), with the sponsorship of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE), the KFW of Germany and the European Union, through the Initiative Development of Ideas for Business and Acceleration of Central American MSMEs (DINAMICA Initiative), develops the project to make visible, train and promote the FCdS Mentoring Network.

This is done through meetings that will enhance the actions of mentoring specialized in entrepreneurships led by both women and men. In addition, work is being done to create a digital platform that facilitates communication between mentors and entrepreneurs under the leadership of the Canal de Empresarias Project.

The Mentoring Network is a group of professionals with the necessary skills and expertise to accompany and support the development of ventures developed in Panama. It was created in 2014 and currently seeks to add more people who wish to voluntarily share their knowledge with other interested parties.

The two training sessions will deepen on topics of high relevance that will provide value and knowledge in the mentoring processes that will be developed in 2019, in the entrepreneurship programs of the FCdS.

The meetings will cover the following topics:
• Empowerment and gender
• Barriers and how to handle them
• Explanation of the Mentoring Methodology of the Canal de Empresarias
• Design Thinking Techniques
• Project traction and scalability
• E-commerce.

With these themes we will be able to empower more than 80 professionals with innovative information and specialized dynamics to carry out high-impact mentoring that supports the development of enterprises in our country.
