CdS receives training to take advantage of organic waste

Collaborators of the City of Knowledge Foundation were invited by the Municipality of Panama to know about the "PROJECT FOR THE USE OF ORGANIC WASTE FOR COMPOST AND URBAN GARDENS", in order to take it as a model for the City of Knowledge.

This consists in the development of an Organic Project and the installation of two Recycling stations of the Pilot Plan of the "Zero Waste" Program, in order to raise the quality of educational processes, with an ecological approach in the Special Vocational School and the National Helen Keller School.

The Project for the use of organic waste consists of several components: i) Environmental Education and knowledge transfer, ii) Implementation of Composting with pruning waste and organic waste (food), iii) Cultivation in Protected Environment and Harvest, and iv) Installation of "Zero Waste" recycling stations.
