CdS hosted technical meeting of GTECS
The City of Knowledge hosted the technical meeting of the Working Group of Experts on Subnational Competitiveness (GTECS), held on May 4 at the auditorium of building 109.
The mission of the meeting was to promote the exchange of international experiences on Subnational competitiveness and knowledge about the different methodologies in the preparation of reports, measurements, competitiveness and innovation agendas at the level of provinces, states, regions or cities, that benefit the public and private sector in the design and execution of public policies on economic development and competitiveness.
During the meeting, Professor Arosemena, Executive President of the City of Knowledge Foundation, gave a presentation on the City of Knowledge project where he highlighted that "we are an innovative community that promotes social change through humanism, science and business". After the meeting, those present were able to enjoy a tour of the CdS campus.
This meeting was part of the Seventh Edition of the Meeting of the Working Group of Experts on Subnational Competitiveness (GTECS), which took place from May 2 to 4, in Panama. The same was an event proposed by the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS), in its capacity as Technical Secretary of the Inter-American Competitiveness Network (RIAC), which brings together 35 countries in the region each year.
