CAPATEC and FCdS celebrate BIZ FIT Panama 2018

The Panamanian Chamber of Information Technology, Innovation and Telecommunications (CAPATEC) and the City of Knowledge Foundation held the 10th edition of BIZ FIT Panama on October 2 and 3, 2018.

The event had the presentation of the project "Development of Ecosystems for Digital Entrepreneurship", which is born from a public-private and academic alliance to strengthen the digital capabilities of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and new business in Panama.

BIZ FIT Panama 2018 also had a conversation panel entitled "Women in Tech", by Larú Linares, Manager of Female Entrepreneurship at the City of Knowledge Innovation Center, as moderator. It had the participation of Milenne Martin, Country Manager of Microsoft Panama, who said that "women also have an opportunity to develop in the technology industry.”

The 10th edition of BIZ FIT Panama was carried out with the support of the Mayor's Office of Panama, Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (AMPYME), National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG) and the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT).


BIZ FIT PANAMA this year reaches its tenth edition, being the main ICT event in Panama, gathering year after year hundreds of decision makers in the ICT, government and academia sectors.
