The 11th Latin American Cluster Congress (CLAC) of the TCI Network is being held at the City of Knowledge from November 21 to 23, 2018, with the theme "Leadership for Innovation and Competitiveness in Latin America: Territorial Development Strategies Based in Clusters".

The congress is a specialized event of TCI Network in which numerous companies of the clusters, national and international expert consultants and institutions that work actively in the improvement of competitiveness, meet for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, results and methodologies in subjects of competitiveness, innovation and management of clusters for the strengthening of productive capacities and territorial development.

"The objective of this meeting is to share experiences and knowledge in the creation and effective operation of clusters. Because of its essence, CdS is a space where we work as a team to face the most important challenges of the 21st century," said Jorge Arosemena, Executive President of the City of Knowledge Foundation.

After a brief Introduction to the TCI Network, Luis Oliver Torres, Coordinator of the TCI Latin America Chapter, recalled that the "TCI Network is organized through a Board of Directors with members from several countries of the world, that seek to connect the knowledge of the territories to be able to develop better practices".

For his part Eysel Adolfo Chong, Manager of Knowledge Management at the City of Knowledge Foundation, carried out an "Introduction to the experiences of Collaborative Networks". For Chong, this event is about identifying common strategic challenges to take advantage of business opportunities in which everyone wins. He also explained the dynamics of the event in which those present are divided into two groups, one that takes a tour of the campus to learn about the CdS ecosystem, and another group that visits APEDE, an articulator of public-private strategies.

The objective of CLAC is to strengthen public-private articulation for the development of productive capacities and innovation mechanisms in cluster initiatives in Latin America.
