From August 27 to 31 the City of Knowledge Convention Center held the eighth version of the International Conference Cycle of the Isthmus School “Yo Diseño 2”. The cycle had the participation of 10 important experts in the world of design, art and architecture, from Chile, the United States, Cuba, Spain, Colombia and Mexico, who gave 16 conferences on: Architecture, Interior Architecture, Industrial Design, Packaging, Drawing, Landscaping, Advertising and Graphic Design.

With the objective of facilitating collaboration between the academic sector, as well as projects and development interventions implemented in Panama and Central America, Florida State University (FSU) - Campus in the Republic of Panama and the United Nations Office of the United Nations Services for Projects (UNOPS), signed an Interinstitutional Collaboration Agreement today. The Rector of the FSU-Panama Campus, Dr. Carlos Langoni, the Regional Director of UNOPS for Latin America and the Caribbean, Mr. Fabrizio Feliciani, and the Director of UNOPS in Panama, Mr. Roberto Carrillo Castillo, attended the event held at the City of Knowledge.
