Madrid Science Park visit
Received by Antonio Díaz García, Director, and Ana Torrejón of the Monitoring Unit of Technology Transfer of the Madrid Science Park (PCM), the team of the International Technopark of Panama composed of its Director, Ricardo Endara and Project Manager, Janelle Castrellón, visited the PCM with the objective of strengthening partnerships between both Technological parks.

Senacyt inaugurates Innovation and Development Laboratory at the University of Panama
The National Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT), based at the City of Knowledge, opened the first Laboratory for Innovation and Development of Interaction Technologies between Man/Machine at the School of Computing, Communications and Electronics of the University of Panama, to benefit teachers and students.

Graduates of the Isthmus Architectural and Design School, located at the City of Knowledge, won the first three places and honorable mention in the Sustainable Architecture Project Competition organized by TerraExpo and Panama GBC.

Foreign Trade students from Colombia visit the City of Knowledge
In recent days, a group of Foreign Trade students from the Antonio Nariño University (UAN) in Colombia, who were in Panama participating in a Management Training program on "Transport Logistics and Foreign Trade", visited the City of Knowledge where Dr. Guillermo Castro, Academic Director of the FCDS, received them.

CONETIC and the City of Knowledge carry out a Business Meeting for ICT cooperation with Panama
The International Technopark of Panama, along with the Spanish Confederation of Information Technology, Communications and Electronics Companies (CONETIC), held a business meeting in Madrid aimed at technology companies belonging to the ICT clusters affiliated to the 13 associations belonging to CONETIC, who were interested in access to foreign markets and in particular the Panamanian market. The objective of this meeting was the approach to the understanding of the needs and opportunities that Panama offers Spanish ICT companies.

Jorge Drexler returns to the Athenaeum
On June 25, starting at 7:00 p.m., Jorge Drexler returns to the City of Knowledge Athenaeum with an intimate show at times improvised and interactive, presenting one of the pieces of "n", his new project of songs that allow the public to combine the lyrics as he sings live. Drexler played for the first time in Panama on March 1, 2012, with a memorable recital in a full and enthusiastic Athenaeum that sold out a week in advance.
