The City of Knowledge Foundation, the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT) and the United Nations University (UNU-MERIT) invite you to the Communication and science dissemination workshop 'Reach & Turn', to be held at the City of Knowledge Classrooms 105 on October 17, 18 and 19, 2018. It is an official parallel event of the 2nd Open Science Forum for Latin America and the Caribbean (CILAC).
Reach & Turn highlights the double importance of telling facts and stories, that is, narrative research, in the formulation of policies and in media reports. The three-day workshop provides researchers, communicators, students and journalists with the opportunity to improve their communication and networking skills with dynamic group discussions, plenary sessions and interactive exhibitions. In this edition, we will be accompanied by the following speakers:
· Diego Salama (Bolivia) - Communications Officer, United Nations University
· Dante Licona (Mexico) - Social Media and Media Monitor, World Health Organization
· Carlos Cadena Gaitán (Colombia) - Academic Coordinator of the Center for Urban and Environmental Studies, EAFIT University.
