COLLOQUIUM: FREEDOM, A GAME THAT DOES NOT ADD ZERO
The City of Knowledge Foundation and the Francisco Marroquín University invite you to the COLLOQUIUM: FREEDOM, A GAME THAT DOES NOT ADD ZERO. This event will be held on Friday, December 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Training and Business Center, Building 105 of the City of Knowledge.
For a society to grow and prosper, the largest number of transactions must be positive for both (all) win. In this Colloquium we will be analyzing free market solutions to the usual problems we face in Latin America.
The coordinator of the colloquium is Fernando Monterroso, Rector of the Francisco Marroquín University of Guatemala for 15 years, from 1988 to 2003. Member and former President of the Committee of Trustees of the University and Director of the Center for Economic and Social Studies (CEES), precursor entity of the Marroquín University. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Marroquín University and his MBA from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has held management positions in different organizations of the private sector of Guatemala. In 2016 Francisco Marroquín University awarded him the Robert Nozick Prize for his contribution to academic excellence during his life.
