Short-term Contractor as General Service Office Support (GSOS)

·Perform administrative duties in support of the health unit
·Manage the over the counter medical inventory
·Coordinate medical supplies request, including purchase and delivery
·Process medical invoices for payment
·Work as the health unit receptionist backup
·Support the office in a different clerical and administrative functions
·Degree in Business Administration or related field, or a university student with two years progressively responsible experience with clerical and/or secretarial knowledge of administrative medical duties.
·Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Power Point, and Excel).
·Good organization and time management skills; excellent interpersonal communications skills; willingness to take initiative; excellent teamwork skills, strong service attitude; personal integrity; flexibility; strong interest in Panama’s development.
·Must be fluent in Spanish and English Languages.
·Driver’s license and ability to drive 4x4 manual transmission vehicles.
·Applicants must possess a Panamanian work permit for at least 2 years unless Panamanian or US citizens.
·POSITION WILL BE SUBJECT TO SECURITY CHECK CLEARANCE.
Salary and Benefits
$800.00 (gross monthly salary, plus transportation allowance). This is a Personal-Service Contractor (PSC)/local hire position.
